New Area!!

 I am in Deltona now! I moved on from my past area in Rockledge so this is the second area ever I have had the chance to serve in. Deltona has been real different. My comp goes home in 5 weeks so he has alot of experience teaching. Additionally, there is just two of us elders here in the area and we have an entire house to ourselves. Sadly, it is obvious the house has been occupied by nothing but college age guys for the past couple weeks, so I have been really busy cleaning. I can proudly say that the toilet in my bathroom has probably never been so clean since missionaries started using the house.

I have alot of work I can help with here. There is definitely much to be done so I feel like if ever there was a chance to make an impact it is in Deltona. I have only been here a week but the people are great and I have finally seen hills again, I was surprised how much I missed them!

Last Week Here

 Big news came this week, I am heading out of Rockledge and being transfered to the most northern zone of the mission. Members have been jokingly telling me it is colder way up there and I may actually need a light jacket but I definitely won't since it is more inland and therefore hotter. The town I am going to is called Deltona and my new companion only has one transfer left in his mission. Also, instead of an apartment we actually have a house and a backyard to stay in which will be real nice. I didn't mind living in the third story here, it just made it inconvenient to run out to the car every time I forgot something.

We found two new people who, after having a tough go at things, sought us out and want to learn more. Also, a friend we were teaching that couldn't go to church for a bit was able to start coming back and we are going to start consistent meetings again. The sisters in Viera told me to leave an area better than you found it because you leave an area better than you were when you got there so I hope I have done that. I am definitely going to miss Rockledge but I have no regrets from my time here, also, it is known as the most dangerous area of the mission becuae of Cocao so I can use that as my claim to fame!
